Keep an open mind when watching this video. It doesn't explain any examples as it is a song, however it gives good explanations of the concepts diameter, radius and circumference. The formulas are clear and it helps with understanding not with doing actual problems. Please keep this in mind. |

This video is not a traditional khan-academy-style video podcast, but I feel that it's very good at accomplishing one task (showing how to draw an angle bisector). It would serve as a supplement to an angle bisector lesson (because it does not explicitly defines an angle bisector), but it isolates a very useful trick that students can use to construct angle bisectors of their own on assignments or homework. For an effective, more formal video describing and defining angle bisectors, see this video. |

The video podcast starts with a review of key concepts (one-dimensional objects, two-dimensional objects, three-dimensional objects) - the speaker reinforces the review with many simple examples. The speaker defines what a net is "in layman's terms", and quickly gets into many examples. I really liked that the speaker showed multiple ways of getting the same three-dimensional shape (using different nets). She uses multiple pages (one page would be better), her voice is clear and easy to understand, and she approaches each example logically, with clear steps. |

Additionally, different colours are used to illustrate separate angles. Furthermore, the speaker is clear and conversational. This video is on the longer side, but is still a great resource (largely because of the effective pacing, as it would be most conducive to learning) |
